Boxer Amir Khan and his brother heroically knocked out an armed gang which had attacked them to steal his Range Rover car in Birmingham.
Amir Khan, the former world champion and his brother Haroon, who is also a boxer, were attacked by thugs in the early hours of yesterday as they returned to the vehicle after a night out. The gang of six men blocked the way for the boxer brothers with a 4*4 car, but Amir Khan and Haroon managed to outdo their attackers who eventually fled from the scene in Birmingham.
A witness to the incident quoted to The Sun saying, “One (of the men) slapped Amir and clipped him on the lip but Amir pulled back and knocked him out cold. Then five of them went for Amir and Haroon but they stood their ground and these guys got dropped one by one.” The witness said that Amir Khan was protecting his car.
Amir Khan and Haroon had travelled to Birmingham from their home town Bolton, to attend a concert at the NIA stadium, when the incident took place. The police said they had been intimated of the brawl, but said nobody had come forward.
A police spokesperson said, “Police were called to Adelaide Street, at about 1.20am on October 8 to a report of a fight taking place. Officers arrived within minutes but found no sign of any disorder and received no reports of any offences having been committed. Police left the scene a short time later.” The Khan brothers refused to comment on the incident.

this is not true….i was there..i witnessed everything.. amir khan was too drunk..amir khan got thrown about..i don’t understand why he has made such a story up..why cant he just admit he got punched by another man..the other guys that were there did not try to steal his car and neither did they block amir khans vehicle with a 4×4. a lot of people did try to stop the fight. amir khan and his brother ran into they cars and drove off in speed..but the other guy that they were fighting with kicked amir khans back lights and smashed them. they were alot of people at the scene like bonafide…nafees…and hunterz…nafees actually managed to get amir khan into his vehicle..but nafees also got pushed by the other guys from birmingham.
