For those who have been keeping a close eye on recent developments in the political sphere may be well aware of the ‘ghost’ of war crimes that’s been chasing former PM Tony Blair. But that has least bothered the ex-Downing Street resident who, in his usual cool way, said he won’t mind another prime ministerial stint.

In an interview with the London Evening Standard, Blair said he has learnt a lot since his previous term as the Prime Minister and would like to have another go at the political hot spot. However, his conviction wavered as he acknowledged that another term is highly unlikely.

Referring to his active involvement in the country’s domestic politics over the past five years, the 59-year-old Labour politician said he is open to serve Great Britain again from a position of power and responsibility, even though “it’s not likely to happen”.

“One of my regrets is that what I have learned in the last five years would have been so useful to me (as Prime Minister)”, said Blair, who is now acting as an international envoy in the Middle East and also touring extensively as part of his job for Tony Blair Faith Foundation.

“I didn’t want to go but I felt that I had to. The only choice would have been to have fought a very bloody battle internally which I thought would damage the country as well as the party”, the former prime minister said in a retrospective mood.

It is learned that the tabloid invited Blair as a guest-editor.

Blair is a war-criminal. He tried to hide this by setting up the Hutton Inquiry.
