Premier League transfer stories hint at major changes in top clubs

Premier League transfer news stories suggest that the top clubs are gearing for major changes during the next transfer window. In Chelsea transfer news, the Blues are under the Abramovich spell as the Chelsea owner is looking to increase the striking force at Stamford Bridge after appointing Rafa Benitez in-charge of the troops.

Abramovich might have angered Matteo fanatics, but has his eye on three of the most wanted strikers for the January transfer window. Abramovich has his sights set on Atletico Madrid striker, Radamel Falcao, who has a £44 million clause in his contract, Porto’s James Rodriguez, who has a release clause of £36 million and Napoli striker, Edinson Cavani, whose bid will start at £48 million.

In Arsenal transfer news, Arsene Wenger is looking for a replacement for Gervinho as the striker will be unavailable for a month due to international duty with Ivory Coast. Wenger is looking towards Schalke 04 striker, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to fill the void left by Gervinho as the transfer window approaches.

Wenger has also been monitoring Braga striker, Eder for a possible transfer move during the January window. Arsenal is still to sign a new contract with Theo Walcott over the extension of his stay at Emirates. Wenger has not yet spoken to Thierry Henry about another loan move back to the Gunners.

In Liverpool transfer news, Stoke stopper, Asmir Begovic has joined the list of keeping prospects of Brendan Rodgers, as the Anfield manager is shopping for keeping supplies for the January transfer window.
