Premier League transfer stories hint at Matteo’s exit from Chelsea

Premier League transfer news hints at players suffering from injuries being shipped off to other clubs. In Arsenal transfer news, the Gunners have been approached by Roma for a possible transfer of Tomas Rosicky, who has been sidelined due to an injury and has not featured in any game this season.

Arsene Wenger might be looking to gather funds by transporting the injury-prone players for the signing of more lucrative players during the January transfer window. Rosicky’s current contract expires in 2014 and Roma believes that they can land the player for a cheap contract of £5 million during the next transfer window.

In Liverpool transfer news, the Reds and Juventus will face-off over the transfer of Udinese defender, Pablo Armero. Rodgers is reported to look for players to strengthen the defence line-up and Armero might serve his cause. Liverpool will have to step up their game if they want to sign the defender as Juventus is offering a lucrative deal to Udinese.

Udinese is persistent to procure at least £10 million for their star defender while the Italian giants are ready to offer £8 million for the 26-year-old. Rodgers has also been pursuing strikers for the transfer window re-opening as the Reds are stranded with only one forward, Luis Suarez.

In Chelsea transfer news, Rafa Benitez is reported to be the replacement for Robert di Matteo and the 3-0 loss to Juventus might make things hard for Matteo. Chelsea is on the brink of bowing out of the group stages of the Champions League.
