Thierry Henry would not be starting a third stint at Arsenal FC

Premier league transfer news rise as the transfer window opens with the new year. In Arsenal transfer news, Arsene Wenger has clarified that Thierry Henry would not be joining the Emirates side during this transfer window. The striker was long rumoured to join Arsenal FC for a third stint at the club.

Wenger stated that he had not lost interest in the French player, but the transfer was not possible. Arsenal FC boss said, “He is not ready, he has just come back from holiday anyway. At the moment, we are not on that case.” Wenger added that the second spell at his present club has been very successful for Henry.

In Chelsea transfer news, Sir Alex Ferguson is reported to be interested in Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole and will make a move on the Blues rejects in summer probably, once they are left out at Stamford Bridge. The Old Trafford boss was reported to make a move on the players during this transfer window, but Chelsea FC has refused to do business with any Premier League clubs.

Reports suggest that Sir Alex wanted to offer one year rolling contracts to the players, but the Blues rejected the offer from Manchester United FC and asked Lampard to agree to offers, which did not belong to any Premier League clubs. The Chelsea FC veteran has also been offered a deal by the US football club, LA Galaxy.

In Manchester United transfer news, the Red Devils stopper, David de Gea is reported to be on the radar of Real Madrid FC. The Spanish club is expected to make a £22 million bid for the goalkeeper next summer.
