In Liverpool transfer news, the Reds stopper, Pepe Reina has ruled out a move to Barcelona FC during the approaching summer transfer window. The rumours have grown since Victor Valdes refused to sign a contract to extend his stay at Camp Nou. Negating the transfer rumours, Reina said, “Any talk of me joining Barca is just speculation. I’ve got a contract at Liverpool and I’m very happy here.”

Brendan Rodgers has offered a position to Jamie Carragher at Anfield after his retirement. Many of the club’s former players have been offered roles at the side.
