Kate Middleton’s childhood friend claims that the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant

Kate Middleton pregnant? Well, that is the fresh claim by Kate Middleton’s childhood friend Jesicca Hay, who disclosed the details in an interview to Australia-based New Idea magazine. Hay also claimed that the royal couple are planning to make the announcement in December, strengthening the reports which surfaced in October saying that Kate Middleton wished to get pregnant soon to resurrect her public image that got tainted by the nude pictures row.

The friend of the royals went on to state in the magazine, “William and Kate are focused on starting a family. It seems very traditional, but of course they’ll be happy with boys or two girls, they don’t want more. They’ve discussed it endlessly and don’t want to be older parents.”

Prince William had also expressed his intention of starting a family in an interview in May for US TV, “I’m just very keen to have a family and both Catherine and I are looking forward to having a family in the future. More importantly, I’d rather like to have children. So that’s the key thing really.”

Jessica Hay claimed that Kate Middleton had put little weight recently, though it has not been obvious. She claims that the couple ideally intend to have two children.

According to the New Idea magazine, Kate and William, reportedly put family plans on hold due to their high-profile engagements throughout the year, including the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics. Last month, friends of the royal couple told Vanity Fair, that they wished them “to be blessed with a baby soon”, according to the Australian magazine.

Jessica Hay is a former classmate of Kate Middleton at Marlborough College and a guest at the couple’s 2011 wedding.
