Suicide Silence band vocalist Mitch Lucker’s death occurred last Thursday morning due to complications from a motorcycle accident in Huntington Beach. Suicide Silence band have set up an official t-shirt and memorial fund in the name of Mitch Lucker and have requested their fans through Facebook to abstain from bootleg merchandise on EBay and online stores.

The Facebook post read: “Please do not purchase any bootleg RIP shirts from Ebay or other online stores. We want to ensure that those of you who wish to make such purchases will have your money going to the right place & that you’ll receive a quality commemorative product. An official t-shirt & donation fund will be surfacing this week and nothing officially connected to the cause currently exists. Please continue to check this page to keep informed.”

The Orange County coroner’s office stated that the accident happened shortly before 9pm Wednesday night and at 6:17 am at the UCI Medical Center in Orange County in California on Thursday morning, Mitch Lucker was declared dead. Mitch Lucker of Suicide Silence was just 28 and is survived by a 5-year-old daughter, Kenadee.

The Suicide Silence band broke out the news of Mitch Lucker death on Facebook, saying, “There’s no easy way to say this…Mitch passed away earlier this morning from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident. This is completely devastating to all of us and we offer our deepest condolences to his family. He will be forever in our hearts.”

Suicide Silence was scheduled to play California Metalfest VI on November 24 as well as the Monster Energy Outbreak tour with fellow heavy bands Asking Alexandria and As I Lay Dying this winter. After the death of Mitch Lucker, their lead vocalist, they are now without a lead singer.
